About the Surya Autism Collective

At Surya Autism Collective, we support autistic learners through age-respectful education, spelling-based communication support, movement sessions for health and motor planning, and creative expression in art and music.

We welcome learners of all ages and support needs - including letterboard users, speaking individuals, those with no reliable method of communication, and people with apraxia or dyspraxia across a wide range of motor profiles.

All of our services are built on a foundation of presumed competence and center on the development of skills - such as motor skills, communication, knowledge, and creative expression

Every learner is welcomed just as they are - there is no need to "prove" a certain ability to be met with dignity, respect, and support. We meet each student where they are. Always.

Academic Tutoring

One-on-one academic support tailored to each student's unique learning style and communication needs. Classes and lessons offered regardless of student's output. Education is for everyone.

Communication Partnering for Spellers

We offer sessions to build foundational letterboard skills as well as support for experienced spellers pursuing projects, writing, or self-directed goals.

Fitness Sessions

Our fitness classes support physical health through personalized sessions tailored to individual sensory tolerances, motor abilities, and unique starting point.
